- Pray for Israel.
Iran fired over three hundred drones and various missiles at Israel last week, but over ninety-nine percent were intercepted by Israel and her allies. Military capabilities, ally support, and prayer protected Israel. Keep praying for this nation, for protection from the evil surrounding them, and for the Jewish people to accept the sacrificial lamb, Jesus, as their savior.
Psalm 37:9, 20, 28 – “For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. But the wicked will perish; The Lord’s enemies will be like the beauty of the fields, they will vanish – vanish like smoke. For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off.”
Psalm 122:6 – “Pray for peace of Jerusalem; may those who love you be secure.”
James 5:16b – “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
- Pray for relief for those facing natural disasters.
Millions of Zimbabwe Christians are facing starvation as this drought-stricken African nation needs rain. The government has declared a state of disaster and a hunger alert. Thousands have already died, and the hunger levels grow, as the drought continues.
Significant volcanic eruptions in Indonesia, have caused over 11,000 people to leave the area near Ruang mountain. There are also threats that part of the mountain may fall into the ocean causing a Tsunami.
The desert city of Dubai was flooded as heavy rainfall fell on the United Arab Emirates and Oman. At least nineteen people have been killed due to the flooding. Climate change and poor water management are being blamed for these flood conditions.
Unseasonable heavy rainfall has also brought death and destruction to Pakistan and Afghanistan. The death toll was close to 140 people and over 2,600 homes were damaged or destroyed.
Pray for those who have lost loved ones, for those in need of food and shelter, and for restoration of homes and land in these varying disasters.
Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Philippians 4:6, 7 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present hour request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
- Pray for those suffering from sickness, disease, and injuries.
Jesus cared about those who were sick, he showed compassion, and performed physical healings while here on earth. We need to pray for the sick, seek God’s healing hand, and pray for wisdom from medical personnel. Pray protection over our earthly medical providers and practices as the upcoming vote, in May, concerning the World Health Organization for an “international pandemic treaty that critics say will give the World Health Organization (WHO) unprecedented power over sovereign nations.” Pray wisdom for governmental authorities to take actions that protect their citizens.
Matthew 25:36 – “I needed clothes, and you clothed me, I was sick, and you looked after me, I was in prison, and you came to visit me.”
Isiah 53:5 – “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
John 17:15 – “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect the from the evil one.”
1Kings 3:9 – “So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
Ecclesiastes 8:1a - “How wonderful to be wise, to analyze and interpret things.”
- Pray for those in Christ to deliver the Good News.
Per Worthy News, according to America Magazine, reported that “France saw a record 12, 135 baptisms this past Easter.” Pray that those recently baptized that they encounter a true relationship with Christ and walk obediently with Him. Pray that they will share the gospel and lead others to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Mark 16:15,16 – “He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
- Continue prayers for Ukraine, Taiwan, the Border situation in the United States, and persecuted Christians around the world.
Continue to pray for Ukraine.
