-          Continue to pray against Antisemitism.

As Christians and some governments begin to call out, condemn, and protest antisemitic activity, pray for their protection and the protection of the Jewish people everywhere and that violent acts would cease. Pray for the Jewish people to accept Jesus as the Messiah.

Psalm 35:4-6 – “May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay. May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away; may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them.”

-          Pray for Indonesia.

“Flash floods hit mountainside villages on Sumatra Island,” causing landslides killing over twenty people. Some areas have roadways under six feet of water. Christians are asking for prayer as more heavy rainfall is being predicted around Christmas and the New Year. Pray for those who lost loved ones, for loss of homes and businesses, and for protection from future weather events.

Psalm 91:1-2 – “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most Hight will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Isaiah 4:6 – “It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain.”

-          Pray for Christians and others suffering from persecution.

Pray for Christians in India as they “face persecution at the hands of Hindu nationalists in no fewer than 23 of the country’s 28 states.”

Pray for the United States and their attempts to promote human rights in North Korea, as “North Korea’s oppressive regime continue to commit heinous human rights abuses against its own people.”

Pray for Haiti as gang violence continues. “Doctors Without Borders,” who have provided humanitarian medical assistance for thirty years in Haiti has suspended its operation due to “deadly violence.”

Pray for the persecution and violence to end everywhere. Pray for peace in all places where evil abounds.

Psalm 24:1-3, 22-23 – “The Lord is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth. Rise up, Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve. How long, Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant? But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them.”

-          Pray for Myanmar.

As civil war continues in this unstable country, in addition to restrictions on goods entering the county, reduced domestic food production, limited essential services, and livelihoods disappearing with trade, agriculture and construction at a standstill, pray for the people of Myanmar. It is predicted that “over 2 million people are at risk of starvation” by March-April of 2025, as “domestic food production will only cover 20% of the population’s needs.” Pray for provision for Myanmar.

Psalm 146:3-5 – “Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day, their plans come to nothing. Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.”

-          Pray protection on the incoming administration in the United States.

Pray for protection over “President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees and administration appointees” as they have been targeted by threats.” Pray protection over Donald Trump, his family, and all government officials and pray that they will seek God’s wisdom as they lead the country, their states, and cities in the days ahead.

Psalm 91:2-4 – “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely, he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

-          Pray for an end to abortion and Planned Parenthood.

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, “have indicated that funding of the nation’s largest abortion provider may be on the chopping block,” planned parenthood. Let this organization go out of business, not only due to lack of funds, but because parents will desire to keep their children. Pray for abortions to end.

Psalm 127:3-5 – “Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? The fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.”

-          Pray for Israel.

Psalm 147:2-3 – “The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 129:5-6 – “May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame. May they be like grass on the roof, which withers before it can grow;”
