- Pray for those who mourn.

With a sad heart we mourn the loss of Alexander from Sons of Thunder in Zambia Africa. Pray comfort and peace for his family and his many friends and co-workers at Sons of Thunder. Pray for all those who mourn the loss of loved ones, especially as we enter the Christmas season when families are often together. Pray for God to comfort the broken hearted.

Matthew 5:4 – “God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

- Pray for the Philippines.

Prayer needed for the Philippines due to tragedies suffered this past week. An Islamic State group is claiming responsibility for bombing a Philippine Church last week, killing four people and injuring dozens of others. Christians there, per Worthy News, have asked for others to “Pray for comfort for the bereaved and ask for healing for worshippers injured in Sunday’s attack. Pray that any future plans by the men of violence are thwarted.” Several earthquakes occurring last week, caused the Philippines to experience aftershocks that impacted Manila and other areas, killing at least three people, and injuring many more. Pray for those who lost loved ones and pray for recovery for those inquired. There was also

a bus accident in the Philippines last week killing seventeen and injuring others. Pray for families who lost loved ones in this accident and healing prayers for the injured.

Psalm 18:46-48 – “The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! May the God of my salvation be exalted! Hi is the God who pays back those who harm me; he subdues the nations under me and rescues me from my enemies. You hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies you save me from violent opponents.”

Psalm 9:9 – “The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.”

- Pray for mail-order abortion drugs to be stopped.

Operation Rescue, a pro-life Christian activist organization, reported to Worthy News that 135 abortion clinics closed in the United States over the past two years. However, in 2023, thirteen abortion drug suppliers began sending out abortion inducing drugs without any safety precautions. They supply the drug, via mail, throughout the states including states where abortion is illegal. Pray for this dangerous drug to not be dispensed and that people would not desire to use this drug to kill their babies. Pray for people in the medical and pharmaceutical fields to use their knowledge to save lives and not destroy them.

Proverbs 4:5,6,14 – “Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Don’t do as the wicked do, and don’t follow the path of evildoers.”

- Continue to pray for Israel and Ukraine.

Pray for the fighting and violence in these war-torn countries to end. Pray for protection for the righteous and the innocent and turn the hearts of the unsaved to the Lord.

Psalm 46:9 – “He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; he burns the shields with fire.
