-          Pray for situation in Syria.

“Syria’s 50-year Assad dynasty: ended last weekend as a “rebel offensive overran government held territory and seized Damascus.” President Bashar-al Assad was overthrown and rebel factions posted freedom from fifty years of oppression under Baath rule. “Israel struck a chemical weapons factory” in order “to prevent it falling into rebel hands.” As some oppression has lifted from Syria, pray for the Christians as their situation could worsen under Islamic rebels. Humanitarian aid, supplies sent for 20,000 Christians, have already been hijacked by rebel militants. Pray for righteous leadership in this county.

Proverbs 28:2-3 – “When the country is in chaos, everybody has a plan to fix it. But it takes a leader of real understanding to straighten things out. The wicked who oppress the poor are like a hailstorm that beats down the harvest.”

Matthew 5:10, 44-45a – “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. But I tell you; Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.”

-          Continue prayers of Zambia.

Praise God for sending significant rain to end the drought in Zambia. Pray for abundant rain to fall and for an abundant harvest to provide food for many in need.

Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

Joshua 5:12 – “The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Cannan.”

-          Pray for The Hague, Netherlands.

Pray for families who lost loved ones, for those injured, and for those missing after an explosion caused a fire in a three-story building and several homes collapsed. Authorities have not ruled out that this may have been a deliberate attack. Pray for the community and that there would be no more attacks.

              Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

              Proverbs 18:10 “The Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

 -          Pray against any evil connected with drone sighting over the United States.

Mysterious drones have been spotted flying over New Jersey, with sightings ranging from New York City to Pennsylvania. These drones are causing some concern although the White House has currently played down these sightings. Pray no foul play is in progress and that United States leadership will investigate for the welfare of the county.

Proverbs 29:4 “A leader of good judgment gives stability; an exploiting leader leaves a trail of waste.”

-          Pray for Israel.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 31:5 – “Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it he will pass over it and will rescue it.”
