- Pray for Central Chile.

Forest fires raged in a densely populated area of Chile last week. Forty-six deaths have been reported and approximately 1,100 houses have been destroyed. Pray for those suffering loss and for those in need of aid. Pray for protection for people from earthly fires and pray for souls to be saved to avoid the eternal lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 – “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

- Pray for Central and Southern California, U.S., as they experience historic storms.

Storms produced an unprecedented rainfall over Los Angeles, CA last week causing landslides and flooding. Reports of heavy rains across Central and Southern California caused 475 mudslides, leaving at least nine people dead and many homes destroyed. Pray for those who lost loved ones and property and for those needing shelter.

Genesis 9:15 – “I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the water become a flood to destroy all life.”

- Continue to pray against a third World War.

Iran announced, last week, that “it plans to conduct joint navel drills with Russia and China before the year’s end.” These drills “will be carried out with the aim of protecting security of the region and common interest,” per the Iranian, an Islamic Republic News Agency.

Psalm 46:9 – He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire.”

- Pray for Christians in North Korea.

Tens of thousands of believers have been imprisoned “in labor camps described as “comparable to Nazi death camps.”” Christian and advocacy groups report that North Korea see Christians as “hostile to the regime.” Christians are sent to labor camps, jailed (never to be released), or killed and “the same fate awaits family members.” North Korea ranks #1 for Christian persecutions on the Open Doors World Watch List for 2024. Pray for those being persecuted and for hearts to change toward Christianity.

Psalm 71:4 – “Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men.”

- Pray for competent leadership in America, for people who walk with the Lord.

According to the Classified Document Report concerning President Biden’s mental capacity, it stated, “We have also considered that at trail, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview, as a sympathetic, well meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Pray for leaders in the United States to be people who walk in obedience with the Lord and are concerned with the well-being of the nation and the constituents they serve.

Psalm 15:2-4 – “He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord, who keep his oath even when it hurts.”
