- Pray for Christians in the Assam State of India.

“A Hindu rights organization” in The Assam State of India, “is demanding the removal of all Christian symbols from local Christian schools.”  They claim that “missionaries must be prevented from evangelizing pupils.” Hostility toward Christians is intensifying, it is believed that some Hindu extremists think that “any faith outside of Hinduism should not be welcomed in India.”  Pray that Christians and missionaries will continue the spread of the gospel in India.

Romans 2:7 – “For those living in constant goodness and doing what pleases him, seeking an unfading glory and honor and imperishable virtue, will experience eternal life.”

- Pray for victims of the shooting at the Kansas City Celebration Parade.

A Super Bowl victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, (United States), turned to tragedy when a shooting occurred at a parade where at least twenty-two people were injured, and one person was killed. Pray for the family experiencing loss of a loved one and pray for recovery of those injured. Pray for violent people to have changed hearts and come to the Lord.

Psalm 37:35-38 – “I have seen wicked and ruthless people flourishing like a tree in its native soil. But when I look again, they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them! Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace. But the rebellious will be destroyed, they have no future.”

-          Continue pray for persecuted Christians.

While many people enjoy the freedom to worship the Lord, fellowship with other Christians, and read and share the Word, many around the world suffer because of their faith. A Pakistan youth was killed by Islamic shooters and as they were shooting, they screamed, “No Christian should be left alive here.” Pakistan is seventh on the US Open Door World Watch List of the top fifty countries where Christians are being persecuted. In Uganda Christianity is legal, but “believers have come under increasing violent persecution from radicalized Muslims.” A Christian man was beaten to the point of unconsciousness, this past week, for handing out invitations to a Christian event. Later that day his house was set on fire and destroyed. Pray for protection for all persecuted Christians and for their resolve to stay strong in the Lord.

Romans 5:1-5 – “Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the anointed One, has done for us. Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!”

Luke 21:19 – “By standing firm you will gain life.”

- Pray for Israel and Ukraine.

Pray for the innocent victims of these wars. Pray for righteousness to rule. Pray for people to turn to God and trust in Him for peace and eternal life.

Psalm 55:22,23 – “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will ever let the righteous fall. But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days.”

Continue to pray for Ukraine.
