Post – February 19, 2023

- The Asbury University Revival Continues. Beginning on Wednesday, February 8 th , the outpouring

of the Holy Spirit filled Asbury University. Since then, students from more than 25 universities,

people from all 50 states and other nations are pouring into Wilmore Kentucky hungry for a

touch from God. Pray for the leadership and worship teams and for the community as they deal

with logistics of people responding and showing up for this revival. Pray that people are filled

with the Holy Spirit, for we are renewed through being filled with the Holy Spirit, and that this

revival will spread throughout the United States and to all the nations.

John 6:63 – “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken

to you are spirit and they are life.”

- There is a growing hunger for the Holy Spirit in Mexico. Pray that people will come to know

Jesus and in Him they will have hope. Difference Makers Church (Maryland, US) currently has a

team in Mexico, pray that hearts will be changed as they share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15 – “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all

creation.”

- The president of Kenya has called for a national day of prayer on Tuesday in response to the

ongoing drought. Let people around the world join them in prayer that this drought would end

and God would send down rain to water the earth.

Hebrews 4:16 – “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we

may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

- Pray for the thousands of orphans in Ukraine and Russia. Many have been separated from their

parents as a result of the war or they have been abandoned. (To learn more, visit Worthy News)

James 1:27 – “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look

after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by

the world.”

- The Avian flu/Bird flu is causing many chickens/turkeys to be destroyed causing food shortages.

This not only affects the meat industry but egg availability. Eggs provide protein for many

throughout the world and as prices rise this protein base food will be out of reach for the poor.

Pray for this disease to be gone in the name of Jesus.

Matthew 6:11 – “Give us this day our daily bread.”
