- Pray for Ukraine and Israel.
As wars continue, a new threat is added as Iran is sending highly accurate ballistic missiles to Russia. Pray for protection of the innocent and for an end to these conflicts. Pray for Peace.
Psalm 94:20-23 – “Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side – leaders whose decrees permit injustice? They gang up against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. But the Lord is my fortress, my God is the mighty rock where I hide. God will turn the sins of evil people back on them. He will destroy them for their sins. The Lord our God will destroy them.”
- Pray for the drought to end in Zambia, Africa.
Zambia is experiencing a horrific drought. Pray for God to refresh the land with rain and for provision of food for all in need.
Deuteronomy 11:13-15 – “So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today – to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul – then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.”
James 5:18 – “Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.”
- Pray against the mounting antisemitism towards the Jewish people.
From Worthy News: “A Dutch Christian foundation supporting efforts to provide the Gospel, Bibles, and humanitarian aid to Jews is among the latest pro-Israil groups to distribute its publication in a sealed envelope amid mounting antisemitism in the Netherlands.” Jewish college students in the United States are feeling unsafe and unprotected., as more pro-Palestinian protests are taking place on university campuses and some protesters are calling for violence against Jews. Jews, and those in support of Israel around the world are feeling pressured and unsafe. Pray for protection of Jews and pray for all to come to an understanding of God’s love.
Luke 10:27-29, 30,33, 36,27 – “He answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. You have answered correctly, Jesus replied. Do this and you will live. But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, And who is my neighbor? In reply Jesus said: a man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robber? The expert in the law replied, the one who had mercy on him. Jesus told him, go and do likewise.”
Matthew 22:39 – “The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
