-          Pray for Christians in Vietnam.

Christian workers are requesting prayer for God’s intervention, provision, and protection as Christians are being murdered and many others are being forced to leave their homes.

Hebrews 12:2,3 – “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

-          Pray for Indonesia.

Due to torrential rains last week and flash floods, dozens of people have been killed on the islands of Java and Bali. Pray for the people suffering from this flooding as more heavy rain is expected. Pray for those who lost loved ones and healing for those injured. Also pray for those in connection with a massive fire at a shopping mall in Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital, as families grieve the loss of loved ones. Pray for rescuers as the search continues for those missing and for those injured.

1 Peter 3:8 – “Finally, all of you, live n harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.”

Colossians 3:12 – “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”

-          Pray for California, United States.

Pray for Los Angelos County, California, as two new wildfires broke out causing over 31,000 people to evacuate their homes last week. The wind and dry condition keep these fires going but fire fighters were able to contain 24% of the fires by Thursday. Pray for God’s mercy, for protection of the people, and for weather conditions to change.

Psalm 122:1 – “I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

-          Pray for Montgomery County, Maryland, United States.

Per Worthy News, the Associated Press reported, “The US Supreme Court has agreed to consider whether parents of elementary school pupils in Montgomery County, Maryland can pull their children out of lessons that use storybooks featuring LGBTQ characters and storylines.” Muslim, Christian, and Jewish parents launched the case against the Board of Education stating the “policy violates their right to constitutional rights by requiring their children to participate in lessons that violate their religious beliefs.” The U.S. Court of Appeals did not provide an “opt-out provision in this case,” so it is going to the Supreme Court. Pray for a ruling that will protect our children from unrighteous educational curriculums in all schools and universities.

Proverbs 22:5, 6 – “In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.”

-          Pray for President Trump and the new administration in the United States.

Pray for President Trump, Vice President Vance, and all the administration as they strive to make many changes in the country to improve American lives. Pray they will seek wisdom from God, rule with righteousness and with humility but boldness. Pray for everyone’s protection, health, family, and staff. Continue to repent for the sin in our country and pray for God to heal our land.

Proverbs 9:7-11 – “My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness. All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. To the discerning all of them are right; they are faultless to those who have knowledge. Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.”
