-          Pray for Somalia, Africa.

In the last four months, 140,000 people have been displaced in Somalia due to conflict, drought, and massive flooding. Conflict between rival warlords and back-to-back weather extremes, experiencing the worst drought in forty years and one-in-a-century floods, has disrupted many lives. Pray for their protection, provision, and salvation.

Psalm 9:9 – “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”

-          Pray for Brazil as they face devastating floods.

Massive torrential rains have caused flooding killing one hundred fifty people with at least one hundred more missing. Flooding has turned the earth into a wasteland and caused destruction to homes and property. Christian leaders are seeking prayer for Christians who are now facing poverty and for their encouragement, enabling the Church to provide aid to those with spiritual needs.

Romans 15:5 – “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.”

-          Pray for the town of Greenfield, Iowa (United States).

Greenfield experienced a horrific tornado last week, one of three to hit in Iowa last Tuesday. A minimum of four people reported dead and thirty-five injured. The town was obliterated. Pray for those who lost loved ones and pray for the survivors as they rebuild their lives. Tornados hit other states in the mid-west and in Texas last week, remember those recovering from these storms.

Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble.”

-          Pray for Israel.

Pray for Israel and Saudi-Arabis as they heal from past broken relationships, and they stand together against Iran and “Iran’s malevolent influence.” Pray for all nations that come together to fight against evil. “

Psalm 27:1-2 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.”

-          Continue to pray against the antisemitic acts that continue.

Pray for Jewish people as they continue to come under attack due to the Israel war against Hamas. Last week, a man dismounted his bicycle and beat on two Jewish children in New York City. He threw them to the ground and proceeded to kick the children. Pray protection for Jewish people and pray for hearts to change toward them.

Psalm 18:27-48 – “He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who save me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me.”

-          Pray for violence to stop in Haiti.

Pray for the families of a recently married missionary couple who were killed by gang violence. Pray for all the violence to stop and pray for protection for the innocent victims.

Psalm 37:35-37 – “I have seen a violent, wicked man spreading himself like a luxuriant tree in it native soil. Then he passed away, and lo, he was no more; I sought for him, but he could not be found. Mark the blameless man and behold the upright; For the man of peace will have a posterity.”

-          Give Praise.

As we continue to lift our prayers to God, let us also be a people of praise. Sean Feucht reports 12,000 baptisms took place on California (US) beaches over Pentecost weekend. Give God the Glory for those saved and continue to pray for more salvations throughout our nations.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 – “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

Continue to pray for Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan, and Haiti. Pray for the unsaved. Pray for Revival in your land.
