 -          Continue prayers for Spain due to recent floods.

Due to the flooding tragedy, the death toll is Spain is over two hundred. Even with the largest-ever peacetime deployment of military help, tensions continue to rise as critics contend that the government has “a poor record of compensating disaster victims.” Prime Minister Sanchez “stressed that 4,800 rescues occurred and more than 30,000 people were helped in their home, on the roads, and in flooded estates.” Pray for those who have lost loved ones, for homes and businesses to be restored, and for unity with the people as they strive to recover from the floods.

Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble.”

-          Pray for Britain to end abortions.

Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, established “a buffer zone blocking pro-life advocates” from any form of protest within 150 to 200 meters (500 – 650 feet)” of facilities that perform abortions in England and Wales. Protests include silent prayer, as one man was convicted of silently praying near an abortion clinic. The convicted man said, “The court has decided that certain thoughts – silent thoughts - can be illegal in the United Kingdom. That cannot be right.” Sixty-thousand protestors have signed a petition “urging Britain’s leftist Prime Minister to halt crackdown on those praying silently outside abortions clinics.” Starmer has not made any indications that he would change the policy.

Psalm 58:1-5 – “Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge uprightly among men? No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth. Even from birth the wicked to astray; from the womb they are wayward and speak lies. Their venom is like the venom of a snake, like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears., that will not heed the tune of the charmer, however skillful the enchanter may be.”

Hebrews 4:16 – “So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.”

-          Pray for Israel.

Iran continues to threaten a “strong and complex attack on Israel,” This attack would involve more “powerful warheads and additional weaponry.” As tensions continue to rise, the United States sent B-52 Bombers and other additional forces to the Middle East “as Israel prepares for a possible Iranian attack.” Pray for Israel, for their defeat over evil terrorists, that they will receive assistance from other countries against evil, and that the people of Israel will come to know Jesus, the Messiah.

Psalm 69:33-36 – “The Lord hears the needy and does not despise his captive people. Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them, for God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will settle there and possess it; the children of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will dwell there.”

-          Pray for Donald Trump as he was elected the 47th president of the United States last week.

Pray for the incoming president, that he will uphold righteous laws and serve the citizens of the United States well. Pray that he and his team will be able to improve the economy, protect the unborn, protect our children from harmful theologies, protect our nation from terrorist activity, and strive to work with other countries toward peace. Pray for the protection of President Trump, his family, and his staff. Pray that both parties and the citizens can work together for the good of the nation and that God will change hearts on issues that do not agree with His Word.

Psalm 146:18 – “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

Romans 13;1 – “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

1 Timothy 2:1,2 – “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

-          Continue to pray for Israel, for rain for Zambia and the other South African countries suffering from the drought. November is here and it is time for the rains, let them come Lord.
