 -          Pray for the war between Russia and Ukraine to end and not escalate.

Long range missiles were fired into Russia and provoked Russia to fire “a new intermediate-range missile” into Ukraine. As the volley continues, “Putin warned the war could become a broader military confrontation involving more nations.” The United State and Britain have been noted as “legitimate targets” as they are “directly taking part in a war against Russia,” according to a former advisor to President Putin. “Millions of Europeans are urged to prepared for an escalation of the armed conflict.” Pray for this war to cease and that there would be no further attacks in Russia, Ukraine, or any other county.

Matthew 24:6-8 – “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”

 -          Pray for Ecuador.

Pray for the wildfires in Ecuador to cease and pray for much needed rain as some provinces are already suffering from a four-month long drought with water shortages and power outages. There is a state of national emergency and evacuations as 24,700 acres of land have already been destroyed by the fires. Include Peru and Brazil in your prayers, as they are also faced with droughts and wildfires.

Proverbs 18:10 – “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

-          Pray for the Philippines.

Pray as people in the Philippines clean up from Man-Yi, the sixth typhoon to hit in the Philippines in a month. At lease 160 people died in the previous five storms and 750,000 people fled their home this past weekend as they prepared for Man-Yi. Christians had requested prayer and Man-Yi did not hit as hard as expected, but there is lots of clean-up to preform from these storms. Pray for those who lost loved ones, homes, and lively-hood due to these storms.

1 Peter 1:6 – “So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though the going is rough for a while down here.” (TLB)

-          Pray for Peru.

China “has inaugurated a controversial massive port on the edge of Peru’s costal desert that locals fear will leave many of them without a hopeful future.” The mega port of Chancay, a remote fishing town,” where fishing spots are vanishing, and the fishermen feel unprotected by their government. As the large container ships begin to arrive at the Chancay Port, “residents fear the arrival of pollution and oil spills, further impacting fishing stocks,” reducing their potential for income. Pray for the citizens of this fishing village in Peru to not lose their source of income due to China’s “modern revival of the ancient Silk Road trading route.”

Matthew 6:31,32 - “So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

-          Thank God for His Blessings in your life.

As, the United States prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday, let everyone from every nation express thankfulness for what they have, most importantly salvation through Jesus Christ. Regardless of our situation, we can be thankful for a merciful Father that planned to save us from our sins and give us eternal life.

Psalm 100:4,5 – “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

-          Pray for Peace in Israel.

Psalm 132:13,14 – “For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling; This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.”
