- Pray for the drought to end in South African countries.

Pray for rain to end the devasting drought that has plagued Zambia and other South African countries for months. Pray for the seasonal rains to bring bumper crops in the year ahead. Pray for provision of water and food for all those suffering from this drought situation.

Matthew 24:4-8 – “Jesus answered; Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”

- Pray for Spain and the Philippines.

While much of Africa suffers from the drought, Southeastern Spain has experienced torrential rains and thunderstorms that have caused flash floods and landslides killing at least ninety-five people and destroyed many infrastructures. The Philippines was hit by Tropical Storm Trami which brought heavy rains and flooding leaving at least eighty-two dead and tens of thousands of people displaced. Pray for all who have lost loved ones and for provision and relief from these natural disasters.

Psalm 126:4-6 – “Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.”

- Continue to pray for North Carolina, United States.

After five weeks, recovery continues in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene left an aftermath of destruction. Many secondary roads remain closed, making rescue and recovery difficult and there are still areas without power. Lives have been lost and there are still people missing from the storm. Pray for those who lost loved ones and pray for lives to be restored as homes, businesses, and communities are rebuilt.

Luke 6:47-49 – “I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed, and its destruction was complete.”

- Pray for persecuted Christians and thank God for your Christian freedoms.

The “news reports highlight intensifying Christian persecution worldwide.” From the Middle East to Africa, they are experiencing “militant Islamist violence,” the governments of China, Eritrea, India, and Iran “have ramped up repressive measures,” and church buildings are being vandalized and burned in Europe and North American. A Uganda pastor, his wife, and two young daughters were burned to death when their house was set on fire by Islamic extremists who were enraged that the pastor had led three Muslins to Christ. Christianity is legal in Uganda but, “Islamic extremists are increasingly bold.” As Christians we need to pray for those that are persecuted and to be bold to speak and walk out our Christian faith. As George (Worthy News) stated, “We know for sure the enemy wants us to sleep while the world falls apart around us.” Keep praying against all Christian persecution, do not let the enemy put you to sleep.

Matthew 10:22 – “All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

Romans 8:32 – “What then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Psalm 118:6-8 – “The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me, he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.”

- Continue prayers for Israel and an end to terrorist acts.

Iran may be preparing a major strike on Israel from Iraq, within day prior to the United States election. Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has “reportedly instructed his forces to prepare for a direct attack on Israel” in retaliation to last weeks strike by the Jewish nation as he stated is “too significant to ignore.” Pray for the protection, victory, and peace of Israel.

Psalm 33:10-12 – “The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.”

Psalm 14:7 – “Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!”

- Pray for United States Elections.

Pray for Tuesday, November 5th, to be a peaceful Election Day. Pray for God to place righteous men and women in place to govern this nation. Pray that regardless of the outcome, people will act responsibly and move forward in unity to strengthen the nation.

Romans 14:19 – “So then let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another.”

-          Continue prayers for Israel, for rain in South African countries suffering from the drought, and for the upcoming elections in the United States.
