- Pray for hurricane victims in the United States.
Pray for people who suffered loss due to Hurricane Helene as cleanup continues from the massive destruction it caused. Also pray for those who were affected by Hurricane Milton. Many people evacuated the area hit by Milton, but there is much restoration to be completed. Also, pray for the first responders and all the churches and neighborhoods that are assisting those in need. Franklin Graham asked for prayer, “May God provide peace and safety for those enduring this latest storm.”
Romans 12;12 – “rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.”
- Pray for the Peace of Israel.
As attacks continue in Lebanon and Israel, Israel’s President, Isaac Herzog, and Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, call “for the people of Lebanon to rise up against Hezbollah, the United State is seeking regional support for the election of a new Lebanese president, the Wall Street Journal has reported.”
Psalm 34:14-16 – “Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.””
- Pray for Christians in Nigeria.
As Christian persecution continues in Nigeria, seven Christians were murdered last week. Since 2009, Islamic terrorists have killed 60,000 Christians. Pray for those being persecuted to be protected and provided for and pray for these terrorists acts to end.
Psalm 34:17, 21 – “The righteous cry and the Lord hear, And delivers them out of all their troubles. Evil shall slay the wicked; And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.”
- Pray for Unite US.
Unite US, an American, “movement of college students, united to lift the name of Jesus.” This movement began last September at Auburn University “following a 5,000-strong worship service,” where two-hundred students were baptized. Last week 6,000 students “gathered at America’s Mississippi State University for a powerful time of evangelism, worship, prayer, and water baptisms.” Pray for these revival services to continue and that young people will turn to Jesus throughout our nation, throughout the world.
1 Timothy 2:3,4 – “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
- Pray for gender reassignment procedures to end.
Worthy News reports, “Sex reassignment procedures and surgeries on children have gained national prominence in recent year, and half of U.S. states now have laws passed either restricting or banning them.” According to Do No Harm, a nonprofit organization, “between 2019 and 2023, there were at least 13,394 gender reassignment procedures nationwide on individuals 17.5 years old or younger, with the youngest 7 years old.” Do No Harm, director, states that body modification surgeries can cause life-long complication to patients. Pray for these surgeries to be banned everywhere on minors. Pray that no adults would desire gender reassignments.
Genesis 1:27 – “And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
