-          Pray against the Communist rule in China and their threats to Christians.

Worthy News shared that “authoritarian regimes like China’s ruling communist party can use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to monitor and oppress believers in Christ.” Some countries are using AI to repress or control religion. “In China, facial recognition techniques allow the Chinese Communist Party to monitor those who attend religious ceremonies, and so it enables them to track them and repress them at a level that wasn’t available to them before.”

There are also reports “that China has exposed hundreds of North Korean Christians to torture, enslavement, sexual violence, and imprisonment by forcing them to return to North Korea” and violent dictatorship.

China, once again, is performing threatening drills around Taiwan. These drills are serving as a “stern warning to the separatist acts of Taiwan independence forces.” Taiwan refused “to agree to Beijing’s demands that Taiwan views itself as a part of the People’s Republic of China under the rule of the Communist Party.”

Pray that China will have a change in government and in the hearts of its leadership to stop persecuting Christians and to stop trying to rule the world and accept God as King and that they would accept Jesus as their Savior.

Jeremiah 10:6-8,10 – “No one is like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you. They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols. But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, the eternal King. When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.”

Psalm 37:39-40 – “But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble. And the Lord helps them, and delivers them; delivers them from the wicked, and saves them, Because they take refuge in Him.”

Psalm 103:19 – “The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.”

-          Pray for the people that continue to suffer from Hurricane Milton in North Carolina, US.

Pray as more than twelve thousand customers remain without power in North Carolina and temperatures are dropping near freezing in many areas. They wait for rescue as many roads and bridges were destroyed by the flooding, they need food and shelter, pray for protection and provision for these people.

Psalm 72:13-14 – “He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in is sight.”

Mathew 5:4 – Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

-          Continue to pray for those facing drought in Africa.

Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe have all declared a state of disaster because of the unprecedented drought in those countries. The United Nations World Food Program needs more funding to help millions of people facing food shortages. Pray for aid to those in need of food and pray for the rain to come.

Psalm 143:7-8 - “I spread out my hand to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Answer me quickly, O Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”

Isaiah 44:3 – For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on our offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.”

-          Pray for Israel.

Pray for Israel as conflict continues and they take their stand against evil.

Psalm 132:13-15 – “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her needy with bread.”

Continue to pray for rain in Zambia and the surrounding countries.
