- Pray for hostages being held by Hamas.

Pray for the hostages and their families, as Hamas and Israeli talks failed to produce an agreement for freeing remaining hostages. Pray for protection for Israel against evil attacks.

Psalm 144:11 – “Deliver me and rescue me from the hand of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful.”

Isaiah 31:5 – “Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will pass over it and will rescue it.”

- Pray for the global outbreak of antisemitism to end.

Since October 7, 2023, “almost thirty thousand Jews have immigrated to the Jewish state,” reports the Times in Israel. War has “erupted not against the state of Israel, but against the Jewish people” with growing antisemitism worldwide. Pray safety for the Jewish people and for them to know Jesus as Savior.

Psalm 18:2 – “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

John 7: 37-38 – “On the last and great day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”

- Pray for people in Japan.

Tropical storm Shanshan, “one of the biggest typhoons in recent years,” went through Japan last week, killing four people and forcing millions to evacuate due to threats of landslides and flooding. Pray for those who lost loved ones, for those suffering loss of property due to this storm, and protection from the possible landslides and flooding.

Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

Psalm 94:22 – “But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.”

- Pray for people to choose life.

In the United States, “at lease nine states will have a pro-choice abortion measure on their November 2024 ballot.” Pray for voters in these states to choose life and not believe the lie of pro-choice.

Psalm 139:15-16 – “My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in our book before one of them came to be.”

- Pray for Evangelist Lou Engle’s call for a Million “Esthers” (woman) to Washington DC for America’s Last Stand.

We see America and the world is in a time of crisis and Lou Engle sees 2024 as a pivotal moment in history, as in the book of Esther, when God called women to save the nation. Lou Engle is calling woman (Esther) and men (Mordecai) to fast and pray on Saturday, October 12, 2024, the Jewish Day of Atonement, on the Mall in Washington D.C., to save this nation.

Join in prayer now and in D.C. on October 12.

Esther 4:14 – “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”

James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”

              Continue to pray peace over Israel and Ukraine and all countries in turmoil.
