- Pray for those facing crisis situations in Hawaii due to fires, in Greece where massive wildfires

are burning near the border of Turkey, and in Florida, (US) where Hurricane Idalia hit the west

coast and moved across parts of Georgis and the Carolinas. Pray for those who have lost loved

ones, homes, businesses and send up prayers for the fire fighters and rescue teams.

Psalm 46:1-3 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the

heart of the sea, though its waters roar ad foam and the mountains quake with their

surging.”

- Pray for people in Johannesburg, South Africa, as a rundown apartment building burned last

week killing over seventy people. Homelessness and poverty are widespread in the city and

other fires have occurred. “Commentors said the fire illustrates some of the vast inequalities in

South Africa – a legacy of colonialism and apartheid.,” per Worthy News.

Isaish 10:1-2 – “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive

decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of

my people, make widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.”

- Pray for abortions everywhere to STOP. Pray for the hearts of Mothers and Fathers and all those

that support, and/or perform abortions to change. Protect those who take a Pro-Life stand and

give them wisdom to deliver the message of life.

Deuteronomy 18:9-13 – “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do

not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found

among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or

sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells or who is a medium or

spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the

Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those

nations before you; You must be blameless before the Lord your God.”

- Pray against fear that could accompany the announcement of a worldwide Covid-19 variant. As

the news announced that President Biden, in the U.S., may require universal vaccinations and

thoughts of bringing masks back let us be wise in keeping ourselves and loved ones safe but not

be fearful.

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be

terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you

go.”

- Pray for people to read and know God’s Word so they will not be deceived. “A fake Bible

passage reportedly generated by ChatGPT” is attempting to lead people to believe that Jesus

accepted the transgender lifestyle.

Revelation 22:18-19 – “I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this

book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this

book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away

from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this

book.”

- Pray for the protection of Israel and for Peace.

Psalm 33:12 – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his

inheritance.”
