-          Pray for righteous leadership in every nation.

Pray for our leaders as we watch them turn from God, strive for power and position as opposed to serving their constituents, and murder their citizens through religious persecutions, abortions, and neglect. Pray that righteous and God-fearing men and women would lead nations, and that God would restore our nations.

2nd Chronicles 14:11 – “O God, you aren’t impressed by numbers or intimidated by a show of force once you decide to help; Help us, O God; we have come out to meet this huge army because we trust in you and who you are. Don’t let mere mortals stand against you!”

2nd Chronicles 15:2b – “God will stick with you as long as you stick with him. If you look for him, he will let himself be found; but if you leave him, he’ll leave you.

2nd Kings 19:15 and 19 (in part) – “You are the one and only God, sovereign over all kingdoms on earth. Make all the kingdoms on earth know that you are God, the one and only God.”

-          Pray for the war to end between Russia and Ukraine.

At least fifty people were killed and two hundred seventy-one wounded when Russia hit a military institute in Poltava, Ukraine with two ballistic missiles last week. This was the deadliest single attack this year. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones and pray for this war to end.

Psalm 11:1-7 – “In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me; Flee like a bird to your mountain. For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do? The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.”

-          Pray for Winder, Georgia, United States.

Pray for the families who lost loved ones in the high school shooting last week and pray for fellow classmates and faculty members. Two students and two teachers were killed, and nine others were injured by a 14-year-old boy. Pray for healing over the injured, pray repentance over this violent act, pray for schools everywhere and for the safety of our children and the teachers.

Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Psalm 18:2 – “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

-          Pray for Israel.

As external and internal conflicts continue in Israel, pray for peace. Pray for hearts to return to God and for people to be saved.

Isaiah 31:5 – “Like flying birds so the Lord of hosts will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it; He will pass over and rescue it.”

Continue to pray peace over Israel and Ukraine and all countries in turmoil.
