PRAY – Then Step Out

Individuals, families, young and old are leaving comfortable living conditions, extended family, friends and the known to become missionaries and travel to the unknown to preach the gospel to the unsaved. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19.

Christians continue to be persecuted in many nations. They are beaten, losing their homes, properties, and jobs, being imprisoned, and killed, but they continue to worship the Lord and spread the Good News. “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My work, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent me.” John 15: 20 – 21.

In the United States Supreme Court Justices are threatened and harassed because they choose life and are voting to overturn Roe vs/ Wade. Please pray for Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett that they will continue to choose life and vote against abortion. Pray for their protection, the protection of their families and those that work for them, for their property and their positions in the Supreme Court. Those who stand for abortion, pray their hearts are changed and they will choose life.

Not only are unborn children targeted for death in the United States, but are children are being taught ungodly and immoral teachings in public schools, pre-schools, colleges, and universities across the nation. As parents have attempted to protect their children from curriculum that includes homosexuality and gender choice (confusion), they have been labeled as terrorist. Pray for the innocence of our children, for parents to step up, and for our educational system to turn back to reading, writing, arithmetic, and morality. “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Busy men and women, around the world, many with families, jobs, and/or a variety of other responsibilities, sacrifice their time and talents to reach their neighbors and those in their communities and their own countries. Missionaries do not always go abroad. “And He sent them (the disciples) out to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to perform healing.” Luke 9:2.

“And they came to a place named Gethsemane and He said to His disciples, ‘Sit here until I have prayed’”. Mark 14:32 Jesus prayed in Gethsemane and from there he stepped out to the cross for our salvation and eternal life.

Pray for revival, “Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” John 4:35. Pray and prepare to step out, as you hear from God, what He will have you to do to advance His Kingdom today.
